Good music playing gently in the background while i am researching ‘the web’ has been helpful, watching the news on television has not been helpful, as i find the political state of things worldwide, worrying at this current time, but referring back to the blog of 19th August, unrest has always ( it seems ) inspired creativity…
I prefer my continuing interest in ‘science’ based art as at least morality is not involved in natural facts, and whilst researching ‘natural forces’ i have found a fantastic online site.. Created by Nicola Triscott , named Art, Science, Technology and Society . Nicola is a cultural producer, curator and writer, specialising in the intersections between art, science, technology and society..and is founder of The Arts Catalyst, a UK arts organisation, distinguished by ambitious ‘artists’ commissions that engage with science. I found the site very interesting and informative, also very relevant to my practice……………….
