The sun shines on a vast bowl of green gold moorland. The shape of the mountains merge with heavy clouds. The light will change soon with the wind.
An earthy smell after rain. Water drips make rainbow trees.
A path leads from weathered boulders to burnt orange cliffs. Waves sing a song in the cave.
These are my thin places.
Thin Places is an exhibition exploring the landscapes that make us feel inspired and insignificant all at once.
Josie is a professional landscape painter who has exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Mall Galleries among others. Her painting process is experimental, focusing on colour and mark making to create vibrant and intuitive artworks.
