For the first time, as part of a teaching unit ‘Professional Development’, this year’s second year students in BA (Hons) Fine Art have the opportunity to create and present an exhibition in the public domain. The students will become not just the artists in the exhibition but the curators, administrators, invigilators and marketers as well. As far as possible this space will be designed and transformed by the students. They will make a group exhibition under their own guidelines and open it to the public. This project will allow the students to experience a wide-range of opportunities and challenges, equipping them with valuable skills that will support them when leaving University.
