After months of mystery, intrigue and lots of head-scratching and leg-work by dedicated Hunters, the ‘Glohst’ Invisible Urban Treasure Hunt has been won! Milton Keynes and the World’s first Ultra Violet Street Art/Graffiti, Urban and on-line Treasure Hunt has been hampered by snow, ice and flu, but this has not deterred the keen hunters and the final clue has been found. What began as a bizarre series of painting defacements and a tongue-in-cheek ‘hoax’ ghost video on Youtube, soon compelled ‘Glohst Hunters’ to go out in snow, minus -6 degrees, night and day, trying to find the invisible Clues left by our fictional spectral tagger all over Milton Keynes. The Mayor of Milton Keynes, Debbie Brock, will present the Winners, Sara and Ryan Matthews with the £1000 ‘reward’ for finding out Glohst’s ‘true’ name, and in doing so, lay to rest a ghost-story for the current times. The runner up, teenager Andrew Gladman will also receive a special prize as his persistence and dedication has been so impressive throughout the competition. The presentation ceremony will be held in Midsumer Place at 7pm on thursday 10th March. If you want to experience the now non-competitive ‘Glohst’ trail, please request the information at www.fringemk.com and go to www.glohst.org to see the fantastic artworks and 3D animations.
