The journey back involved a 3 hour wait at Istanbul airport between 4 and 7 AM. Although airports can sometimes appear to be outside of time and space this wait proved to show the other side of it. The airport slowly woke up around me. Meanwhile I took advantage of the free wifi signal emanating from the ‘World Lounge’ to respond to look at the websites that had been denied me during my stay in China.
