"Once I Sat Upon a Promontory"

Pierre Diamantopoulo, ‘”Once I Sat Upon a Promontory”‘, Patinated stoneware, 2011. Photo: Artist. The notion of putting a Bottom on a pedestal appealed to my sense of the absurd. This refers to Oberon?s speech to Puck in Midsummer Night?s Dream where Bottom?s fate is sealed. The small-headed Tang Horse doesn?t belong in this story, though, somehow, it works.
