In contextualizing the work, curator Jonathan Curzon, interprets the idea of “Shifting Points of View” as an exploration of cultural modernity and change. The featured artists, all born in South Asia, draw from a range of sources, including their own biographies and personal histories. Their journeys map the changes in modernity of South Asia and its Diasporas living abroad. The exhibition features works by ten artists: Anish Ahluwalia (New Delhi, India), Chintan Upadhyay (Mumbai, India), Lata Upadhyaya (Thurrock), Megha Joshi (New Delhi, India), Sharmi Chowdhury (Baroda, India), Temsuyanger Longkumer (London), Vidhyasagar Upadhyay (Jaipur, India), Vinita Dasgupta (New Delhi, India), Vishwa Shroff (Baroda, India), Yogesh Mahida (Baroda, India)
