Language Paralanguage is an art project, which explores the sound-world of the 44 official languages spoken in Europe; through a series of interviews with European nationals living in Europe and who speak in a second language. The project is a touring sound installation, which examines the phonetic and written characteristics of language through participatory processes. Language Paralanguage is supported by Arts Council England, Artpoint and Dada South.
