PV/Friday March 23, 6 – 9pm: Core is pleased to announce that we have re-invented ourselves since we closed our location in Deptford at the end of October 2011. The activities which made up Core Gallery – Exhibitions, DIY Educate and Engine Chat Chat will now be located at different sites and will be run independently. Each of our managing members have gone onto develop their own exciting initiatives based in the activities which happened in one incredible year at Core Gallery. Core Gallery fostered some amazing talent! Core @ Nolias Gallery will host exhibitions, launching on 23 March with a retrospective show of artworks titled ‘NEAR THE TATE’ by Gillian Best Powell and Margaret Higginson, two trustees of Cor Blimey Arts / Core Gallery. In a new partnership with Nolia, a long time gallery owner and supporter of the arts, Core @ Nolias Gallery will be running a programme of exhibitions throughout the year. r.s.v.p.
