I’ve recently just discovered enamel paints, and all the problems I was having with the painting of my clay figures have been solved! Before I started using enamel, I was relying on acrylic paints to give enough coverage on the clay models that I’ve been making but the results had been quite unsatidfactory.

As the enamel paints give a full and even coverage, with the choice of a matt, satin or gloss finish there are a wide variety of choices. I’ve been experimenting with around 9 colours so far, but want to play with colour further as I feel it is an area which has a lot of room for development.
