‘out of thin AIR’ is the culmination of a nine month Jewellery & Silversmithing residency at Birmingham City University’s School of Jewellery. The exhibition provides a fascinating insight into the diverse range of creative processes each of the Artist-in-Residents (AIRs) explores before reaching a finished piece of work. Featuring work from: Frank Jichang Chai, Jemma Daniels, Emily Richard, Stephanie Arm, Jenny Laidlaw, LiChu Wu, Emily Bullock, Yi Liu, Katherine Richmond, Grace Page, Laura Golbourne, Hannah Fewtrell-Bolton and Rhonda Dwyer.
