I did have a good day in the shed today, once I actually got down to it. Elaine and I both intended to work, but not having seen her for quite a few days, we had loads of meaningless rubbish to catch up on. Then we had a cup of tea and a bacon sandwich, and then another cup of tea. Then we went our separate ways a bit, she wimped out and sat inside in the tea room and I sat in the shed. I then wrote up my final show proposal, but without all the really useful information such as room numbers and heights of the ceilings.
It did rain a little bit, but not to be deterred a few drawings were made. I’ve not been as adventurous with my materials as Bernard, but it’s been fun again. I’m looking forward to the weekend, I almost don’t dare look at the weather forecast. Rob is going to play in the shed during the afternoon, and I shall draw or paint or sew for the rest of the time, and talk to people about the project the rest of the time…
