A season of Contemporary Art April 28 – September 2012 created in response to the 17th century gardens, Elizabeth Dysart, Duchess of Lauderdale, and the wider context. The programme includes eight major art works in the gardens, four live art commissions, a programme of weekend talks and tours and the Interaction programme in which artists worked with historians and groups in the community to create new visitor information.
