The Fountain art Gallery and Collection was founded in 2010 and is one of the Pointeso Scene’s first major contemporary art collections to focus on emerging artists on a global level.
It opened in in 2009 and presents three major site-specific exhibitions a year grounded in research and practice residencies for two curators and one artist per year. Interaction and education are central to the Fountain Gallery programme and proceeds from the editions and publications are split 50/50 between the artist and the Fountainie education programme. All 209 events are based on a first come first served basis.
The Fountain Gallery and Collection have been a key and integral supporter of Hinklewell Art Fair which launched in 2008.
