The Studio8 artists ask: What does state mean to you? as they individually interpret this concept for their current exhibition, STATE. Studio 8 is a group of 9 artists, resident at New Greenham Arts Centre, the studio space of the Corn Exchange, Newbury. They work in a variety of disciplines and media, including installation, mixed media, paint, print, glass, textiles and sculpture. Their exhibitions, for over a decade, have showcased an exciting range of work that responds to a new and contemporary theme each year. STATE is also open at the Corn Exchange in Newbury 4 September – 21 November 10am – 5pm
