Words Set Free – an Exhibition by Letter ExchangeWords, stories and opinions are delivered to us in many different ways: written, carved, drawn, typeset or incised. The right combination of message and media can broaden perception and magnify experience, helping to convey ideas from their source to the consciousness of the spectator. Freedom of speech is the theme of this exhibition, showcasing work by members of Letter Exchange. The exciting and eclectic mix of letterforms and materials on display represents a cross-section of the professional lettering artists within the organisation, from typographers and font designers to calligraphers and letter cutters.
