I go today!
I’m looking forward to the 14 hour flight as it will be the only enforced period of not doing anything in the past fortnight. It’s been a bit manic, trying to do as much paid work as I can this month, so that I’m not too affected by a month of non-earning. Add on to that the other things that I work on as part of my practice that need tying up plus making preparations for leaving. I’m hoping that this all means that my body clock is already a bit out of sync and that I’ll avoid the jet lag at the other end.
Anyway, I didn’t really come here to moan, I came here to share this with you:

I’ve produced a catalogue of works from the last 2 years, all hung on the concept of traces and it’s definitions. I’m really happy with it. I’ve made it so that I can give some out to my hosts and to make it easier to explain where my work is at right now. It’s been a useful process to reflect on my practice and shrink it down to four bodies of work – I feel better about knowing what it is that I’m doing because of this process.
