I’ve arrived, I’m rested, and I lost most of Saturday somewhere over Russia.
I’m staying at Shanghai University’s hotel on the campus, and haven’t ventured any further than a restaurant for dinner last night, then a supermarket and omelette stall for breakfast this morning. One of the students is meeting me this morning and taking me around the campus.
From Monday I’ve been invited to take part in a Digital Interaction workshop that runs for 2 weeks – there’s delegates from all over the place coming. I met one lady last night, she’s from Mexico and has worked on systems for interaction with mass transit systems – I hope it could be a really interesting group of people and there should be some interesting links to my own practice, especially the interaction and the possibility of using technology with it.
