Marburae Art Gallery has teamed up with Cheshire Open Studios to become their host for the 16th annual central exhibition, showcasing local talent from across Cheshire. This free event combines 3 weekends of open studios across the Cheshire region alongside one central exhibition, featuring an absorbing collection of works from over 40 Cheshire based artists. Cheshire Open Studios is celebrating its 16th Year, making it one of the most established art trails in the North West. Kaite, curator of Marburae Art Gallery states “We at Marburae Gallery feel it is important to support local arts and showcase local work as well as national and international work. This exhibition puts us right at the heart of the Cheshire Art scene. It is brilliant to bring the centre of an established Cheshire based project to Macclesfield as it will bring people from across the region to showcase their work and view art in our town” The Cheshire Open Studios exhibition open evening will take place at 7.00pm – 9.30pm on 18th April 2013. The exhibition will run from 19th April until 18th May 2013. For more information please visit www.artinmacclesfield.co.uk or follow the gallery on Twitter @artinmacc.
