New Ashgate Gallery presents work by Peter Beard, Karen Bunting, Jack Doherty, Fenella Elms, Carolyn Genders, Ruth King, Claudia Lis, Sophie MacCarthy, Gareth Mason, Marcus OMahoney and Kaori Tatebayashi. In an exciting collaboration taking place in June this year, the Craft Potters Association (CPA) and four galleries throughout the UK will celebrate the current rich diversity of contemporary ceramics. The galleries will hold simultaneous exhibitions, each showing a different group of CPA makers selected by the gallery as an Illustration of Ceramics Now. The other galleries involved are the Bevere Gallery, Worcester – 1 June to 29 June; the Bluecoat Display Centre, Liverpool – 1 June to 20 July and the Contemporary Ceramics Centre, London – 6 June to 29 June.
