This ‘Me’ of Mine is an example of ‘distributed practice’; creative networking which goes beyond the limits of the artist’s studio. Recipient of Arts Council England funding and private sponsorship from HomeinOne.com, This ‘Me’of Mine completes its tour with the final installation at Ipswich Art School Gallery, Colchester+IpswichMuseums. This thought provoking art experience was curated via Twitter and online communications, developed publicly from conception through to completion on blogsite www.thismeofmine.wordpress.com, This ‘Me’ of Mine is a profound exploration of the selves we know in relation to the context of contemporary society and the digital age; an exploration made through the traditional media of paint, sculpture and graphite, and contemporary digital media, sound and installation. Exhibiting artists are: Aly Helyer, Edd Pearman, Cathy Lomax, Darren Nixon, Hayley Harrison, Melanie Titmuss, Annabel Dover, Kate Murdoch, David Minton, Anthony Boswell, David Riley, Sandra Crisp, Sarah Hervey, Shireen Qureshi, and Jane Boyer. Guest Artists are: Kai-Oi Jay Yung, Gary Mansfield, Molly Behagg, Andrew Litten, Suzanne de Emmony, Helen Scalway, Lisa Snook, Jacqueline Utley, Edward Chell and Kate Elliott.
