Well, with only two weeks to go until assessment I suppose I'm slightly late in blogging my 'run up' to the degree show. Perhaps 'final strides' is more fitting! Unfortunately our term at D of J ends much earlier than the rest of the country! I envy those with a month, or maybe even a few months to go!
So I took the weekend off practical work to catch up on my reading. On the list is; The Continuum Encyclopedia of Animal Symbolism in World Art, which, as I can't afford to own, I have been reading on an internet preview (thankfully all the animals I'm interested in are included!)
and
The Formation of Vegetable Mould Through the Action of Worms by Charles Darwin. Im beginnning to wish I hadn't started reading this after I let my eight little friends go a few months back, I could have made their stay in my tupperware box so much more enjoyable with my new knowledge on how to keep earthworms!
Im in an awkward stage, with only one week left to go until the third years are kicked out and we move in, I can't decide whether to start my final drawing as planned and risk not finishing it or spend the time rounding up all my other work!
I will leave you with some images of my silverpoint drawings. Kam, I finally made a post yay!
