For our February event we’re going to visit Blue Monkey’s Sharon Haward during her Making Space residency at Fabrica in Brighton. Sharon will present work in progress made during her short residency at Fabrica and the evening will provide an opportunity to talk about the challenges and opportunities for artists working site specifically and to find out more about Fabrica’s Making Space project. Fabrica is a visual arts organisation based in a former Regency church in the heart of Brighton that commissions contemporary visual art installations specific to the building. Making Space is an opportunity for artists to use the unique space to make new work, lay out or document work or try something out for a small invited audience in Fabrica, outside of the main exhibition programme. http://www.sharonhaward.com/ http://fabrica.org.uk/info-for-artists/making-spac… Artists – all welcome FREE to Blue Monkey Network members; £5 non-members open from 6pm for refreshments Refreshments will be available (contributions welcome) or please feel free to bring a bottle.
