Sue Lawty is one of the UK’s leading contemporary textile artists creating innovative woven pieces in thread, stone and lead. During this evening event she will talk about her work, her ongoing collaboration with the V&A museum, & key influences which inspire her work. Recent exhibitions include Cloth & Culture Now Sainsbury Centre & Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester (Autumn 2008) and she is currently working on an acquisition for the V&A’s collection.
