In order to represent the passing of a teenager who has sadly taken her own life, I decided to use a simple bright white fading to darkness sequence, which becomes a short part of the film ‘6ix Souls’. This is how I ended-up doing it. I’ve always liked the changing quality of light entering the front windows of my house, which face west across open fields – I’ve made quite a few short films in recent times hearabouts.
