Annals of the Twenty-Ninth Century, Wysing Arts Centre, Cambridge
Wysing Arts Centre’s new exhibition features commissions by artists who worked at the space during 2013, and forms part of the centre’s 25th anniversary celebrations. Its title is taken from writer Andrew Blair’s early 1874 science-fiction novel of the same name – a wildly speculative intergalactic future forecast. Artists include Seb Patane, Charlotte Prodger and Florian Roithmayr.
Until 30 March, www.wysingartscentre.org

Sarah Wright, Tramway, Glasgow
Glasgow-based artist Sarah Wright presents a large floor-to-ceiling installation, pushing her exploration of printmaking processes to the limit as she explores the imagery of advertising. A large length of gallery wall is mirrored, creating an environment similar to that of a ballet studio, reflecting the artworks on adjacent walls as well as the viewer in the act of looking. Part of Tramway’s Rip it Up series, which supports the creation of new work.
Until 2 March, www.tramway.org

Encyclopedia Galatica, GV Art, London
This retrospective exhibition celebrates the work of artists and scientists who have contributed to the GV Art’s programme during the last five years. Curated by Sophia Kosmaoglou and Frances Sampayo, highlights include Stefan Themerson’s powerful photograms.
