‘FOOTFALLS’ is an exhibition of fragmented and fragile paper shoes by London based artist Anne Teahan. This work has two key sources of inspiration: firstly, the New Hall Art Collection of women artists with rich and diverse work spanning almost a century. Secondly, the structure of the 50 year old building which houses the collection and its multiple reflections in glass and water. Anne started this work by making observational drawings at the College. Her drawings, translated into paint and print, have been fragmented into 3-dimensional structures using delicate Japanese paper and rigid Perspex.
