The Jamaica Street studios doors will be open to everyone again on 5, 6 and 7 June 2009. The 42 resident artists are now readying themselves for their big summer party in the creative heart of Stokes Croft, Bristol. The Open Studio is an annual opportunity to meet 42 diverse and interesting creative people in their studio spaces in a beautiful studio building. It will be a great chance to see artworks ranging from award winning book illustration, comic art, contemporary ceramic, sculpture, oil painting, dynamic drawing and cutting edge embroidery. Come along and support local business at its roots by buying artwork directly and be part of a positive, busy and unique weekend hosted by a vibrant local community.
