Wilson-Eflerová’s new work, originally made in response to the unique character of Deptford Creek, London offers audiences a unique, embodied experience.
Helena Eflerová’s performances (filmed by Kye Wilson) have been edited into two different immersive video installations that explore single and multi-screen exhibition display contexts.
The Embodied Vistas exhibition will evolve and change over its duration and will showcase artworks inspired by Wilson-Eflerová’s work made by adults with learning disabilities.
Wilson-Eflerová are intermedia artists Kye Wilson and Helena Eflerová who combine performance and video mediums within an installation display context to create inter-disciplinary artworks that explore themes of embodiment and the human condition. Wilson-Eflerová have been collaborating since 2008 and have exhibited nationally and internationally.
Embodied Vistas is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
