Bristol Design and Craft is a new initiative in Bristol aimed at increasing direct contact between local makers and the public. It has been founded by Buddy Bird and Sarah Davis, two local artists, who wanted to create a new low cost route for artists and crafts people to exhibit and sell their work in this creative city. The first event will be held at Westbury Park Methodist Church, BS6 4QB on October 17th (10am – 6pm) and 18th (10am – 4pm). This Fair is being supported by 20 artists and makers, with food and drink available for visitors. Proceeds from organising the Fair will be donated to Cancer Research UK (as BDAC is operating as a not-for-profit collective).
