Ian Whittlesea, RED: The Hay Wain, study for Field Broadcast image, 2014. Through a series of very short broadcasts, Whittlesea will be using red ready-mades (a red blanket, a toy sailing boat with red sail, a kite, a paper plane, a red light in Willy Lott’s cottage at dusk) to activate the Dedham Vale landscape in a way that recalls Constable’s radical use of colour.
