I am pleased to announce that I received a first class degree with honours in fine art and now have work up for exhibit in the Waterfront Gallery, Pretty’s and in Subterranean Boulevard Gallery in Ipswich. I am also hopefully going to be running an art class at the Cut in Halesworth.
I am a painter facinated by ancient artforms and primitive cultures. This facination began whilst studying for my degree in Anthropology. I am interested in the beginings of expression and language in its pictorial form. My work is an attempt to access my unconcious mind and I create 'raw' artworks which express my internal emotions. My art practice links me into that instinctual drive for expression which began with our ancient ancestors.
