MisFit
Six artists explore the troubling and often unspoken topics of mental and physical collapse in this pop-up exhibition that questions expected behaviours, with some potential distressing content. Speaking about non-conformity; the fleeting format of this one-night-only exhibition in itself promises to live up to its theme.
Monday 9 November 2015, 6-9pm, Apiary Studios, 458 Hackney Road, London E2

PINK

Known for her site-specific sculptures and installations, this gallery exhibition plays with colour, form, perspective and scale, clustering works in a series of spatial relationships to create a dialogue.

You Lived Here Mrs Pool(e)
Jenny Zigzag’s new works navigate the mystery of Mrs Pool(e) who once lived in Zigzag’s home. Exploring the traces and markings that make up a building’s physical memory, along with the enigmatic bundle of historical documents that came with the house deeds, Zigzag uses a variety of media and found objects to conjure up this elusive life once lived, but scarcely recorded.
7 November – 20 December 2015, South Square Gallery, Thornton, Yorkshire

Paint
Within The Undercroft, a new art space at the top of Norwich Market, this exhibition of 22 painters celebrates the freedom of this medium from any one artistic movement. Brian Korteling’s painted squares play borrows from the pixelation of digital images to create vibrant abstracted landscapes; the abstract landscape of east anglia is a key starting point for artist and former interior designer Corrin Tulk’s dream-like works in oil, whilst David Sullivan’s realism purposefully allows political and ideological narratives to resonate from his works.
7-29 November 2015, The Undercroft in Marketplace, St Peters’ Street, Norwich
