What is a home and why do we seek it? Most people associate ‘home’ with a locale and a sense of security – but as art psychotherapist (and curator) Kelly Jayne points out, home is “a place within our selves”. This exceptional show invites a group of leading mid-career artists from around the UK to consider the nature of home – be it in political, emotional or psychological terms. The outcome ranges from the huge, celebrated portraits of Shani Rhys James; or the equally large, socially-charged work of Sue Williams – to the arresting quietude of Matthew Krishanu’s figures, or the disquieting humour of James Rielly’s video animation.
Open 10am – 5pm | Monday – Sunday
