Lovelys Annex Gallery presents Sunshine & Blossom by Nicky Chubb. A mixed-media exhibition exploring the surprise and wonder of nature. Nicky’s flower paintings are an attempt to capture the burst of happiness felt when finding an unexpected patch of wildflowers, or when a breeze sends a meadow dancing. She is particularly inspired by the vivacious windflowers, hardy heathland plants and big skies seen in the countryside around her home, and the powerful feeling of permanence and belonging that watching a familiar landscape through changing seasons can bring.
