As May draws to an end and June comes into view the degree show season is really starting to get busy.

Taken from the listings in this year’s a-n Degree Shows Guide, this week sees 11 shows opening to the public across the UK, including Derby, Hertfordshire and Central Saint Martins in London.

There’s also includes a good showing for Wales with exhibitions opening in Carmarthen, Cardiff and Wrexham, while in Liverpool students from both John Moores and Hope will be presenting their degree show work.

In north-east England, the just-opened degree show at Teesside University includes the work of sound artist and sculptor Thomas Tyler, who talks about his work (below) in the a-n Degree Shows Guide 2017.
