[Pamela Schilderman, Dutch-Brazilian artist born in Rotterdam 1982, recently received the France Brodeur Young Artist Award and an Arts Council England grant to exhibit her project ‘Casket’ in museums.
Her practice is strongly influenced by science exploring notions of identity and individuality through repetition, often juxtaposing microcosm and macrocosm as though through the lens of a microscope.
