On the evening of Tuesday 19 September we celebrated the launch of artWEEK Exhibition in support of Central London Samaritans. The launch included: a moving speech from Mark Harris, the head of the Charity’s Outreach Programme and live music from two young singer-songwriters – Sam Way and Alice Pesano.
The exhibition will continue until Saturday 23 September with artwork from artists: Catherine Ingleby, Geoffrey Harrison, Lindsay Terhorst North, Robert Lee Davis, Sue Hoar, Susana Bravo, Terry Beard and Tony Short.
It will also include a talk given by Robert Lee Davis, artist in residence, entitled: How I Found My Purpose Through Art on Saturday 23 September at 1pm, at the Haymarket Lounge.
15% from the sale of paintings sold by the artists will be donated to the Charity.
For every £10 raised Central London Samaritans will be able to complete two potentially life-changing calls.
