L I M P STRUCTURES is a group show by current Master of Letters (MLitt) Sculpture students. The MLitt is a one-year practical course at the Glasgow School of Art. This exhibition functions as an inflection situated at the midpoint of the course, offering an insight into our varied processes and the development of our professional artistic practices.
A Limp Object:
1. one which is saggy
2. has an inability to stand straight
3. relies upon other elements in order to resist gravity
A floppy, flaccid structure that contradicts traditional conceptions of sculpture.
