Come and see this pop-up installation of 200+ graphic postcards and signs showcasing a collection of texts appropriated from raw graffiti documented across Europe and beyond.
Discover a wide spectrum of thoughts and declarations left behind by random strangers, from personal to political and everything in between, altogether forming a collective glimpse into facets of contemporary life.
Inspired by encounters with urban spaces between 2011-2018, the series captures words and messages in multiple languages including English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Lithuanian.
Part of an active project by Patrick Joseph, who previously published a book on the same subject called Poet Fool (2016), this show continues an ongoing exploration of raw graffiti and other manifestations of human existence.
The texts will be installed at projektraum messing, a former-shop-turned-project space in the bohemian village of Rixdorf in Neukolln, where the concept began in 2011 after a chance encounter with the show’s title which loosely translates into English as “Every dream has its way.”
