The only parameters are the space (and time*) the work occupies, which must relate to the number 100.
The guidelines are as follows:
2D work must fit within 100x100cm of wall space.
3D work must fit within 100x100x100cm of floor space.
4D work (*any pieces of work involving time, such as video, sound or performance) must last no longer than 100 seconds or take place within 100x100cm. This means videos must be shown in a format within 100x100cm limit, performers must perform within 100x100cm of floor space and sound work is limited to headphones (to keep the sound within 100x100cm).
As well as a cluster-cuddle of arts there will be the chance to vote for your favourite piece.
The public’s favourite will be awarded a solo show at The Steamship in September 2019.
We are asking for £5 donations per submssion (not £100) to help us keep the ship seaworthy and to cover the costs of the event so please follow the instructions and submit.
However, if you are experiencing any financial difficulties please do let us know and we will try to help you with submitting your work regardless.
