From the a-n archive: Fanny Adams cover, March 1992
Fanny Adams was a group of women art practitioners active in the early 1990s which campaigned to publicly expose inequality and discrimination within the art world and to give women a stronger and more prominent role. Using the slogan ‘FANNY ADAMS PUTS YOU IN THE PICTURE’ the group ran a media campaign placing adverts known as ‘information pieces’ in art magazines, including Artists Newsletter.
