“My practice is centred around the research of historical garment making processes, in particular boning, and exploring the connotations that textiles and garment making processes hold. I aim to create structured textiles pieces that are able to reject traditionally associated ‘forms’, transforming into performative ‘characters’ that rely on and deny their historical and aesthetic contexts.”
