Overview

I’ve been laser cutting mirrored acrylics into ovals on Monday, worked on my sketchbook on Tuesday, and been to the printmaking workshop this morning to print onto Fabriano Rosapina ivory paper and onto the two mirrors.

I’m planning on making 2 – 3 more prints onto oval mirrors, so I can install it on the wall of the studio space.

I’ve already explained the significance behind the usage of oval mirrors and images that are distressing or uncanny earlier in the blog.

The hair clogged in the plughole has a lot in common with a piece I’ve done in semester one with the metal and the washing up liquid because the subject matter is about cleanliness – See video.
