WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Storyboarding typically comprises various panels which sketch out the plan for a film, video or animation, but in this workshop we won’t necessarily be narrating a specific story. There is an immediacy of drawing needed for storyboards which avoids a kind of strained attention to detail. This can open up an interesting starting point for participants to create their own visual language to tell a story or imagine an idea.
Materials are included.
Format: Our Thursday evening series of workshops will focus on extending drawing through low-tech, low cost, DIY techniques. The creatives leading each workshop are young and emerging, yet each is working in a strong and accomplished way with their approach and materials.

BIO
Miquel Agell lives in London and studies Film and Media at Goldsmiths. In the last few years he has been involved in filmmaking and recently directed ‘‘La imatge d’un passat’, a documentary which explores how industrialisation has shaped towns and estates in Girona.
WHO
Anyone who draws but would like to try out new materials and techniques centred on drawing.
