These artworks were created from Waternish, Isle of Skye and the Shetland Islands in all seasons, all months, all year round. The island views in both locations are rugged yet softly knitted together, making for a wondrous inspiration for an artist loving to use such sculptural mediums like pastels and charcoal. The colours and contours change from minute to minute with the mist and light conspiring to transfix and mesmerise.
