The time has come again! A new issue of Aghh! Zine has been born!
Come celebrate with us at Aghh! Zine Issue 03 “Pleasure” Launch party on Thursday 10th October at the Lighthouse Project Space. On the night, we will have an hour of live readings and performances from five of our 54 contributors from Aghh! Zine Issue 03 “Pleasure.” We will then have an hour of interactive workshops facilitated by talented Brighton-based artists around the theme of pleasure.
Come and hear directly from the brilliant artists who contributed to our zine collection, have a pleasurable crafty night and learn something new!
Expect readings, workshops, zines, music and lots of pleasure! Check out our YouTube short for venue details and step-free access.
You will also have the opportunity to buy a copy of our brand new zine and take it home with you. *Please note: We believe Aghh! Zine Issue 03 “Pleasure” is for those aged +18 years old due to some of the content being explicit and sexual in nature.
Event Schedule
Doors open: 6:30 pm.
Readings/ performances: 6.45pm- 7.45pm
Workshops: 7.45pm – 8.45pm
Close: 9pm.

Online streaming: is free. We will only be broadcasting the first hour of reading and performances between 6.45pm-7.45pm (BST). You don’t need a ticket for that. Stream online for free here (stream link coming soon)
Last year the tickets sold out fast. If by any chance you can’t make it to the event, please release your ticket to give the opportunity to someone else to attend.
Food and Drink:
We will have a few non-alcoholic drinks and snacks at this event.
Feel free to bring your own food!
ACCESSIBILITY
This event will be held on the ground floor, level access, of Lighthouse Project Space, New England House, Elder Place, York Hill Corner, BN1 4GH (map) Please watch our short from timestamp 0.27 seconds to see the step-free access.
Lighthouse have step-free access just to the left of our space. The step-free ramp is 1 metre wide, after the ramp you reach a blue door please use the ‘Lighthouse’ doorbell, one of the team will come to let you in and you will then go through a door that is 34 in / 86.5cm wide and after that another door in to the space that is 33.5 in / 85cm wide. There is an accessible toilet in the space on the same floor. Lighthouse have one accessible parking space that must be booked in advance. COVID-19 Safety:
If you’re feeling unwell, exhibiting any symptoms of illness, or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, we kindly ask that you stay home. Your health and the health of fellow attendees are of utmost importance to us. You can still participate in our event virtually and catch all the action through our livestream.
For the safety of all attendees, we strongly recommend that all attendees take a COVID-19 test prior to coming to the event.
