Tim Bowditch’s debut solo show of photographs displayed on large scale light boxes. Funded by the Guernsey Art Commision the backlit images depict Bowditch’s last weeks on his childhood home of Guernsey. During this period he was preparing for a move to London. The locations are not specific but motifs such as rope swings allude to a care free childhood whilst the isolated chairs and benches relate to the aprehension and solitude of contemplating starting a career in London. The work will be moved to London during Photomonth and will be shown at the Star of Bethnal Green in October and Idea Stores in Whitechapel and Chrisp Street during November.
