As part of this year’s Photomonth, East London Photography Festival a series of studio style portraits of pigeons have been released onto the streets of East London. The birds were digitally removed from their surroundings and have been physically returned as photographs. The project, combining ideas of fine art photography and street art, takes the work out of a defined gallery space and into the public domain virtually and physically using a combination of Twitter, a blog and the streets around Shoreditch.
