Exciting experimental crossdisciplinary show where the only requirement apart from quality is that the exhibiting artists define their work as being in some way influenced by science. Organised by Hybrid Art and Science Networking Association. This event takes place at various venues the opening times are: 3-24 February Persistence Works Reception open weekdays 10am-5pm work by Hondartza Fraga, Bryony and Chloe Pritchard and David McNab : 3-11 February experimental works in the Project Space Persistence Works open weekdays 10am-5pm work by Lizz Tuckerman, Alireza Fazeli, and Lesley Seeger plus performance by Bryony and Chloe Pritchard : 11-21 February Sheffield Institute of Arts Gallery open all week 10am-5pm work by Lucy Lyons, Kelly Cumberland, Paul Digby, Sarah Spanton, Hondartza Fraga, Jenni Danson, and Lizz Tuckerman. On Saturday Feb 20 this gallery will open from 10am-8.30pm for a day of performances by Sarah Spanton 12noon-5pm, Simon Warner 6-6.30pm, Third Angel 7-8pm, and Bryony and Chloe Pritchard : 16-25 February Butcher Works Gallery show Micropainting an installation featuring art and pathology by Sally Lane-Morgan and Guy Morgan open 10am-4pm except Sundays. Exhibition is supported by Arts Council England, and Sheffield Institute of Arts Gallery. It is linked to a symposium at The Thackray Museum, Leeds, which will take place on the 20 March, speakers are Siân Ede, Mary Midgley, James Peto (Wellcome Trust) and Professor Mike Vanden Heuvel .
